Arts of Snohomish - Who We Are
Arts of Snohomish (AoS) is a non-profit gallery featuring community-minded
artists. Our mission is to add to the continuing revitalization of Historic
Downtown Snohomish as an economic and cultural art presence for the area.
As the only major art gallery in this district, AoS has a bright future ahead.
We envision becoming a showcase for the latest works of regional artists with a
variety of special events throughout the year.
AoS also provides a forum for members to share knowledge, common experiences
and issues through monthly meetings, discussion groups, workshops, and
demonstrations.
AoS offers classes in various art mediums to members and the public who are
interested in expanding their art experience.
As a major tool toward accomplishing the mission of AoS, the gallery provides
regular monthly shows featuring the work of local artists and fine craft
people as well as hosting benefit shows for students, physically challenged
artists, and much more.
AoS aims for quality, with reasonable prices to the consumer through the
structure of the gallery and efficiencies obtained as a result.
Members in good standing share the tasks of operating the gallery, including
the sales and administrative responsibilities.
Unpretentious and inviting, Arts of Snohomish is real art for real people.
