Curated by 4-H project volunteer Toni Fitzgerald and the Espirit de Corps 4-H Club,
“Snohomish County 4-H Photography Project” presents the culmination of
the efforts of many 4-H club photography students. The result is a show with amazing
perspectives on various subjects, including portraits, landscapes, architecture and nature.
All works will be framed and for sale, and 100% of all 4-H art sales
will directly benefit Snohomish County 4-H clubs. All proceeds are being generously
donated by the 4-H member artists and Arts of Snohomish is donating the exhibit
space and time.
Special thanks go to Dennis Bishop of
Bishop & Associates Photography
and Ken Brookner of
Ken Brookner Photography,
who donated their time for teaching photography skills to these youths.
4-H was established in 1902 and the 4-H youth have been working hard in our communities
ever since. 4-H, over the years, has grown to include not only agriculture amd animals,
but also computer science, photography, ATV, rockets, performing arts, natural resources,
and much more.
WSU Corporate Extensions oversees the program, ensuring that all 4-H members
have access to all that 4-H provides. The basic 4-H focus is the personal growth of the member,
and young people learn best when they are involved in their learning.
“Learning By Doing”: The intent is to do, reflect, and apply.
We appreciate the generous donations by our sponsors of this show!
