Using oils, I prefer the "alla prima" and
impressionistic style of painting to express my ideas
and emotions in both plein air and in my studio. As a painter, I find great joy in light and color and in the challenge of the manipulation of geometric shapes. My sculpture is inspired by the honesty of Seiji Saito and by the graceful feminity displayed in the art of Harriette W. Frishmuth. At present, I live in Arlington, Washington.
