What is Arts of Snohomish?
Arts of Snohomish is a 501c(3) artist association located in historic downtown Snohomish. AoS’s mission is to sell local art, to promote fine arts and artists in Snohomish, King and Skagit counties, and to partner with other organizations for the benefit of the residential and business communities. Hosting this juried art show helps to fulfill this mission. The show is also a fund raiser for AoS so that it can continue to present art related opportunities and events.
Participation Rules
Eligibility: Entry is open to all artists with original works. All items must be for sale. A 40% commission will be charged for any item sold. All works must have been completed within the last 2 years and may not have been previously submitted to this event.
Media: All works must fall into one of the following categories: 2D or 3D mixed media, ceramics, cyber/digital, drawing/pastels, fiber arts, glass, printmaking, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture, and woodworking.
Art Work Conditions: 2D work must be suitably framed to gallery quality standards, wired, and ready for hanging. No fast frames accepted. Oversized pieces will be accepted at the discretion of the committee, dependent upon available display space. 3D work must come with a pedestal unless the work is supposed to sit on the ground. Arts of Snohomish reserves the right to refuse any work which is deemed unsuitable due to size, value, fragile nature, or content.
Dimensions: Frames must not exceed 44”x 54”. Sculpture and other 3D work may not exceed 80”x30”x30”. Quilts must have sleeves for mounting and hanging rods must be provided. We suggest smaller than 2600 square inches.
Multiple Categories: Artists may submit an application for no more than three entries. Entries can be in multiple categories.
Jurying is done by Photographs: Take the best photographs possible of your artwork and send them in. No Slides Please. Blind jury. Point system. All entries and entry prices are final, no changes or substitutions. Entry fee is non-refundable.
What are fees and commissions? Non-refundable entry fees are $10.00 per entry or three entries for $25.00. Each artist is limited to three entries. The gallery collects a 40% commission on sold work.
How should I submit my entry? Send one labeled photograph per entry. Photograph size: no larger than 8.5"x11".
Write your first/last name, title, and phone number on the back side of the photograph. No Slides Please.
Although AoS will do its best in taking care of your photographs, AoS is not liable for loss of or damage.
Send your completed application form, your photograph(s), a SASE (stamped, self addressed envelope, for notification and return of your photos),
and a check made out to "Arts of Snohomish" for the amount of your required entry fee(s) to:

Irina Kirienko Milton is qualified as a signature member of the National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society. She is a member of the Women Painters of Washington, Women Painters of the West, Plein Air Painters of Washington, and Oil Painters of America. Irina’s works have been accepted in some of the best competitions in the country and have won numerous awards. Her work is represented in selected West Coast galleries . She also teaches art classes in Everett Community College and private workshops.
Hulan Fleming is a nationally known painter known for his Western and Native American style paintings. He also paints a wide variety of other styles. His paintings have won many art awards and have been accepted into many national art shows. His work is represented in selected galleries across the country.
